"Brisbane lagged behind the southern capitals a little when it came to embracing Spanish Energia but, hola were making up it for it now.  Housed in a heritage-listed barracks, peasant is funky with cool street art murals, eclectic lighting and offers a lively selection of wines from Spain and Portugal…the churros are a sensual treat."

"The drinks list is almost entirely Spanish and the bits in between are portugese or south American.  That applies to the beer list as much as the wine list and I reck it is an appluadable (and brave) move…the food is rustic in a good way, presented simply, relying on good flavour comninations and decent ingredients to give the food it’s lustre. 7.5/10"
